THE CHALLENGE

JDS Consulting did not have the optimal vehicle mix in its fleet to achieve its business goals. When they contacted Enterprise Fleet Management, their fleet primarily consisted of half-ton trucks that were not ideal for the types of jobs the JDS employees were handling. Additionally, the larger vehicles had high monthly payments.

THE SOLUTION

Enterprise Fleet Management provided the recommendation that JDS should transition away from their current half-ton vehicles in favor of a lighter-duty truck that would be more suitable for their needs and save them money on monthly payments.

THE RESULTS

In following EFM’s recommendation, JDS was able to lower their monthly payments by $120 per vehicle, improve the fleet’s fuel economy by 5 MPG, and gain $150K in equity through reselling their prior half-ton trucks.
